If you want to buy a used TVR, it's definitely worth proceeding with a little caution. This relatively small manufacturer couldn't match the quality control standards set by some of its more illustrious rivals but if you know what you're getting in to, a pre-owned TVR can deliver more thrills than anything else at the price. There are lots of TVR used cars to choose from but the majority are variations on a theme rather than stand alone models in their own right. We'll kick off in 1992 with the launch of the Griffith with its charismatic V8 and the Chimera which employed the same powerplant. The Cerbera of 1996 was available with a V8 unit or the Speed-Six engine that was to form the basis of TVR models for years to come. Between 1999 and 2006, the marque launched a series of models based around the Speed-Six engine. They kicked off with the Tuscan, then followed with the Tamora, the T350 and the extravagantly styled Sagaris. Many of the used cars you'll find will have spent time on track but prices for used second hand TVRs mean they're still a performance bargain.
